Spontaneous renal artery dissection with renal infarction presented by low back pain and microscopic hematuria: a case report and literature review

Abstract: Spontaneous renal artery dissection(SRAD) is a rare disease of unknown origin and is often confused with other urinary diseases(e. g.,kidney stones, acute pyelonephritis) or gastrointestinal diseases. A retrospective analysis of one patient with spontaneous renal artery dissection with renal infarction presented by low back pain and microscopic hematuria. A literature research was performed with "Spontaneous renal artery dissection" as the Chinese key word in China national knowledge internet, Wan-fang database. We summarized the demographic characteristics and clinical features, to deepen the emergency department physician awareness of the disease, improve the level of diagnosis and treatment, reduce misdiagnosis.
