A case of emergency surgery in patient with multiple arterial embolism caused by infective endocarditis

Abstract: Infective endocarditis is a disease involving the inner membrane of the heart caused by microbial infection. Although the technology of diagnosis and treatment of infective endocarditis has been improved in recent years, the annual mortality is still very high. Here, we describe a case presentation of multiple arterial embolism caused by infective endocarditis successfully treated with emergency surgery.
