The effect of therapeutic hypothermia on heart function in patients with cardiac arrest
-
Abstract: 45%-60% of the patients with cardiac arrest have heart dysfunction after successful resuscitation.Severe heart failure is a major determinate of mortality in the first 72 hafter restore of spontaneous circulation (ROSC).Target temperature management (TTM) is the only intervention to improve survival and neurological outcome of cardiac arrest patients. But whether TTM especially therapeutic hypothermia can improve heart dysfunction in CA patients after ROSC is controversy.
