Intramedullary nail in treatment of elderly patients with metastases to fill the pathological femoral fractures with bone cement

摘要: 目的:探讨髓内钉系统结合骨水泥填充治疗股骨转移瘤致股骨病理骨折的方法和疗效。方法:2009-03-2013-02我科接诊老年股骨转移瘤致股骨病理骨折16例,股骨近端9例,股骨中段7例,均采用髓内钉结骨水泥填充治疗。结果:所有患者均有随访,随访时间3~24月,平均18个月,术后疼痛症状明显缓解,肢体功能改善,患者生活质量提高。结论:对于老年股骨转移瘤致股骨病理骨折患者,骨水泥填充+髓内钉内固定是一种安全、有效的手术方式,可明显缓解消除疼痛、部分或完全恢复肢体功能、提高生活质量,减少患者护理难度。Abstract: Objective: To investigate the method and curative effect the intramedullary nail system combined with bone cement in the treatment of femoral bone metastases to of pathologic fracture of femur.Method: From 2009 March to 2013 February, 16 cases of fracture of senile femurmetastasis induced pathological femoral,proximal femur in 9 cases,7 cases of proximal femur,were treated with intramedullary nail and bone cement fixation.Result: All patients had follow-up,follow-up of 3-24 months,average 18 months after operation,ease pain,improve function of limbs,raising the quality of life of patients.Conclusion: For the elderly femoral metastasis induced pathological femoral fracture patients,bone cement filling with intramedullary nail fixation is a safe,effective operation mode,can significantly relieve the pain relief,partial or complete restoration of limb function,improve the quality of life of patients,reducing nursing difficulty.
